The
most common request we receive from employers interested in exploring
rural telework is for case studies of businesses similar to theirs
that have implemented this work option. They want to learn from
the firsthand experience of others who are already successfully
tapping into the expanded workforce in rural areas. WSU is beginning
to develop a set of case studies highlighting employers from a range
of industries and geographic areas. Learn why these businesses decided
to turn to employing a rural workforce, how their programs were
implemented, what lessons were learned, benefits gained, and barriers
overcome.
